September 1, 2021 Eureka Farms, Palmyra, ME

We were heading to New Hampshire for Labor Day weekend so we found a Harvest Host site where we could spend a night that would get us a little closer to our destination.  We ended up at the most marvelous farm run by father and son, Hollis and Seth.  They have a little bit of everything here.

The property is pretty far off the beaten path but that makes it special. We had a great location on their property for the night

They package their own honey here while also selling all the equipment you need to start your own aviary.

They run a country store where they sell items made by lots of local farmers and businesses.  They also sell eggs from their chickens as well as locally grown fruits snd vegetables.  They make maple syrup in the spring and sell wood cut on their farm. We bought a bunch of local “stuff” from their store.

Their farm store has a loft they built with furniture made from wood from their farm. You can Airbnb and stay in the loft for a night.

We had a great time on the farm but Ricky had a mishap when he stepped on a  🐝 in the 🍎 orchard.  He was down for the rest of the day.

When we left, Hollis gifted us with an amazing swag bag. This was a memorable stop on our trip.

The maple woopie pie was delish!
