Kennebunkport, Maine

We made it to our first stop in Maine- Kennebunkport.  We are staying at Sandy Pines Campground which was recently voted as one of the best campgrounds in Maine. It’s not cheap but it is so cool. They have all kinds of sites where folks can either rent a yurt, vintage RV, covered wagon, teepee or cabins. It sits right on an estuary so you see all kinds of migratory birds. Lots of mosquitoes but it is in the woods.

We’ve been here before so we are going to go to places we have not seen before.  Tomorrow a light house.
