The Zippo Factory Tour

After leaving Ohio we skirted back and forth veteran Pennsylvania, New York and then back to Pennsylvania all to visit the Zippo Factory in Bradford, PA.

We decided to visit this iconic brand and we were not disappointed.  Who knew that in 1900 this part of Pennsylvania was one of the richest towns in the country.  They had oil, lumber and lots of railroads passing through.

The family started the company after perfecting the patent in the 30s. The wind proof design and the promise to fix it for any reason garnered millions of faithful followers. Thousands were sold to those in the military.

The store and museum are awesome. The designs are fabulous. The company also purchased CASE knives and those are on display here too.

Even an album cover deign.

Very fun spot on our trip.
