Wine, Wine, Wine

On May 31, 2021, we moved from Camp Bankersmith and headed down route 290 to Stonewall, Hye and Johnson City to the Wine Trail.  We were spending the night at a winery and we wanted to check out some of the other spots. This is a green, lush area of rolling hills.  Wineries abound in this area. It’s all farms, dairies, breweries, wineries and parks.

We had a great time trying some local wines. Ricky enjoyed being able to join us.

Then we bedded down in our field for the night.

We shared our spot with some locals.

Those black clouds later dumped several inches of rain on us along with lots of thunder and lightning.  We’re not at the beach any more.

  1. June gloom has hit with a vengeance….looks about the same - minus the rain!

I love this adventure and grateful you are taking me on it with you.
