Lincoln’s Grave

Lincoln’s grave is probably the most ornate of the President’s that I’ve seen. It sits atop a grassy knoll in the local cemetery. You are allowed to enter it on the floor level and once inside you take a circular route that takes you to the site where he is buried along with three of his children and his wife. The marble and the statuary that adorn both the inside and outside of the tomb are beautiful. It has been the ONLY place besides the Arch elevator where we had to wear a mask.
