Our First State -Arizona

Survived our first night of boondocking. We slept great and got up ready to move.  Today was a traveling day. We planned to make it to Gilbert Ray Campground in Tucson. It is a public campground next to Saguaro National Park West. (There are actually two separate sections of this park.)

Drive took longer than we expected. We are towing our jeep so we really can’t go more than 55.  Have to get used to that. We made it into the park about 4 just in time for happy hour.

Some great specimens of these majestic cacti. Tomorrow we hit both of sections of the park.
