September 2, 2021. North Conway, New Hampshire

Drove from Maine to New Hampshire after spending the night on a farm. Beautiful roads but lots of traffic for the start of Labor Day Weekend. We are headed to North Conway a place where I went camping with my grandparents when I was a kid. We are staying at a campground right on the Saco River.

The Saco River ran right by our campground.  The campground would shuttle you up the river with your float and you could float back down to the beach by the campground.  Too cold for us but some brave souls did it.

On the Sunday of Labor Day weekend the campground hosted an old fashioned picnic on the beach with food, games, trivia and live music. It was a great home base for our touring this part of New Hampshire.
